Hey Galaxy,
I’m currently laughing at myself as I type this because one would expect that my first post this year would be motivational and inspirational, but man, I’ve got nothing! Okay, maybe not nothing nothing, just nothing that I think can compete with the “big big” things you must have been hearing/reading in the last five days.😅
All right, let’s start this letter all over again.
Dearest Stars,
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope this meets you well? If so, glory be to God.
How was your holiday? Were you able to get some rest, eat plenty food and merry? How are you doing? How has the new year been? Are you excited to have resumed work or you wished the holiday was extended?
Also, about the new year, are you on team #NewYearNewResolution or #NewYearWeMuveeee? Walahi, I’ve not figured out what team I’m on yet. But you know what? It doesn’t matter! 2021 is gonna be all shades of great for you and I. Amen?
I’ve been binging on many blog posts, status and updates and I must say that it gladdened my heart to read that despite how crazy 2020 was, people still had a somewhat good year. Who would have thought, right?
Oh, back to why I was laughing at myself earlier. Turns out, just five days into the year and I’ve been fretting about 2021 already. Can you imagine? It took me speaking with with HeyAnci yesterday to realize why I’ve been anxious. So worked up that I hardly sleep forty winks a day, but let’s give thanks to God because I slept last night.
Boy, against all the “aspire to perspire’ I’ve heard from different angles about not making too many plans this year because life could happen (bye 2020!), I still couldn’t stop myself from making crazily huge and scary plans for 2021. Please, please, please, tell me I’m not alone.
But as my dear Ancillar advised, I’ve written it all down, broke them into chunks, and I’ll be starting small as I work my way towards the big plan. Oh, I’m learning to hand them over to God too.
Whatever plans you have (or have not) for 2021, I hope you learn not to fret about them but work and pray instead.
May 2021 come with fulfillment of dreams, record breaking achievements, sound health, joy, love, happiness, peace of mind, less stress, more money, wise decisions, and all that your heart desires in Jesus’ name.
Thank you so so much for doing 2020 with me. Thank you for the engagements, encouragements and support. Thank you for shining your light ever so brightly in the Galaxy.
Let’s do greater works in 2021, shall we?
